3 Truck Drivers required

B8 Transport Ltd., located at 2161, Grainger loop, Innisfil ON L9S OM9 is looking to hire 3 truck drivers for their company.

Salary: $27.00/hr, Full time (40-60 hours per week) and Permanent

Skills:
Language: English
Education: High School
Credentials (certificates, licenses):

• Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
• AZ class license

Experience: Experience is an asset. On job training will be provided
Job Duties:

• Transport finished goods and raw materials from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and updates on delivery routes.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Obtain receipts from customers and complete necessary paperwork and daily driving logs.
• Maintain the logbooks manually or computerized.
• Load and unload goods
• Perform emergency roadside repairs.
