Siding Installer

Columbia Valley Drywall Ltd. located in Abbotsford; BC is currently hiring 4 full-time Siding Installers for their growing team. Candidates are required to work at various locations in Abbotsford, BC, and other Lower Mainland (BC) areas depending upon the company’s contracts with it’d clients. 

Position Details:

Position: Siding Installer

Number of positions: 4

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $28.00 per hour 

Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations:  Various job locations in Abbotsford (BC) and other areas in Lower Mainland (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

 Job duties:

• Read blueprints or work order specifications.
• Determine layout and installation procedures.
• Measure, and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
• Erect and install scaffolding or other working platforms.
• Prepare underlying surfaces for installation and perform minor repairs if needed for better installation lifetime.
• Install siding as per specifications and schematics for buildings using hand and power tools.
• Cut and trim materials to shape when fitting siding around windows or corners, using knife, shears, or portable power saw.

 Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in a related field would be an asset.
• Ability to communicate in English.
