Job Description and Responsibilities:
Job title - Production Designer – Contract position in Canada (100% Remote):
On behalf of our client in Vancouver, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for an Production Designer with our client for a 1 year contract opportunity.
Role Description:
Reporting to the Experience Design Lead, the role of the Web Designer is to assist in the production of professional and polished visual designs that consider brand requirements, client goals, product strategy and technical constraints. Candidates should have a growing portfolio of graphic design and web solutions that reflect a range of industry experience. Strong visual composition, typographic, layout capabilities are important considerations.
This role is a great opportunity to work on large projects, gain exposure to enterprise-level teams and add a very recognizable client to your portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing engaging experiences for our consumers across web
- Contribute right away to the Marketing Design team
- Keeping up to date on trends and best practices in web design
- Experience in stakeholder engagement
- Participating in creative brainstorm sessions in order to develop conceptual ideas around client objectives
- Being able to work independently and within tight schedules
- Being a self starter
Skills Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience designing web experiences and web-based applications
- Proficient Adobe, HTML, CSS, and Figma skills
- Experience with Web Pages
- 1+ years of experience with AAA Gaming Studio Marketing and Web Pages
- Experience working with a team of web designers on a large variety of games
- Familiarity with Electronic Arts and their game library, customer base, and goals
- Familiarity with motion graphics, prototyping, and video editing a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Have a portfolio of work demonstrating your experience
Education Requirements:
Bachelor degree in related area is mandatory
