Machining Supervisor

Mann Machines and Hydraulics Ltd. located at 245 Advance Blvd. Brampton, ON, L6T 4J2, requires 1 Machining Supervisor on a Permanent and full-time basis. Wage: $ 34 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours or above per week. Must have 1 year to less than 2 years’ experience as a Machinist. Additionally, 10 paid vacations and 10 sick leaves will be provided.

JOB DUTIES:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of machinists and other staff such as machine operators, helpers, and general labour.
• Oversee the setup of machining equipment. Ensure that machines are properly maintained and repaired to minimize downtime.
• Plan and organize production schedules to ensure that orders are completed on time.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, tools, and supplies required for machining operations. Place orders for materials and maintain adequate stock levels to support continuous production.
• Enforce safety regulations and procedures in the machining area.
• Ensure that machine parts meet quality standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues related to machine processes, equipment malfunctions, or deviations from quality standards.
• All other related tasks as may be required.
