Terms of Employment: Permanent Position, 40 hours per week

Location of Work: Inglis, Manitoba

Wage: $16.50 per Hour

Language Requirements: English

Responsibilities:

• Prepare workstations for cooking.
• Cook and prepare a variety of food of each recipe on the menu.
• Arrange food and ensure an appealing presentation.
• Supervise kitchen helpers and kitchen operations if needed.
• Maintain freshness of product and rotating old product out.
• Keep inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Work with a team of Cooks to handle varying levels of activity.
• Memorize recipes, policies, procedures, and standard food portions.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace always.
• Being aware of and following all kitchen health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Train kitchen staff if required.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma
• Minimum of Six Months to One  year of work experience as a cook in a kitchen or restaurant setting.
• Available to work the day, afternoon, weekend shifts, and overtime if needed.
