Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time - 30 to 40 hours per Week

Salary: $32.50 to $35.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Employment conditions: Day, Morning, On Call, Overtime, To be determined, Weekend

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

7 months to less than 1 Year

Construction, Renovation, Various locations (Usually within GTA region)

Responsibilities

Examine and analyze blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and build foundation; Maintain, repair, renovate wooden structures in commercial and residential projects; Utilize cutting tools to measure, cut, shape, assemble, and connect various materials including wood, wood alternatives, lightweight steel, and others; Create layouts adhering to building regulations; Examine locations and perform any necessary repairs or maintenance; Erect scaffolding and other construction frameworks as needed; Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other fasten materials to make frameworks or props; Follow established safety protocols, ensuring a safe and tidy work environment; Constructs or restores cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden structures found in buildings, utilizing woodworking machinery, hand tools, or power tools
