At Professional Transport Driver Training School, our mission is to develop and deliver high-quality driver training and services that fulfill the driver education needs of the Manitoba trucking industry. At the same time, we assist individuals in obtaining and enjoying a safe, rewarding career as a professional driver. As a registered private vocational school, we offer small class sizes or group training and can tailor the sessions to suit your specific needs. One-on-one training is also available.

 

We are currently seeking an experienced, highly organized, and proactive Administrative Coordinator to provide operational support, schedule coordination and other administrative support to the school.

Wage & Benefits

$26.00/hour, 30 to 40 hours per week

Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate and oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient use of resources within the school.
  2. Provide guidance and supervision to administrative staff, ensuring they perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
  3. Maintain accurate and organized records related to student enrollment, attendance, scheduling, and other administrative tasks to comply with regulatory requirements.
  4. Facilitate effective communication between instructors, students, and administrative staff, both internally and externally, to ensure smooth information flow within the school.
  5. Plan and coordinate driving lessons and exams to optimize instructor and facility utilization, considering both student and instructor availability.
  6. Stay informed about relevant regulations and licensing requirements for driving schools, ensuring that all administrative processes adhere to legal and industry standards.
  7. Manage office supplies, equipment, and other resources efficiently, ensuring that the driving school operates within budget constraints.
  8. Assist in the coordination of training programs for driving instructors and administrative staff, ensuring that everyone stays current with industry standards and best practices.
  9. Generate regular reports on key performance indicators based on data gathered, such as student enrollment, completion rates, and customer feedback, to support data-driven decision-making by the driving school management.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a relevant field is a plus.
  2. Minimum one year of experience related to office administration/management.
  3. Proven knowledge and understanding of administrative and office policies and procedures.
  4. Demonstrated high level of proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  5. Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  6. Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
