Retail Store Supervisor

Location: Markham, ON L3R 1A2

Salary: $22.00 hourly / 30 hours per Week

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
• Assign sales workers to duties
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Authorize payments by cheque
• Order and sell merchandise
• Authorize return of merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
• Conduct performance reviews
• Maintain the general appearance of the store
• Implement marketing strategies to increase sales
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
