NOMAD Coffee & Bakery, situated in North Vancouver, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Baker to join our team. We take great pride in delivering exceptional bakery items to our customers and are excited to welcome a passionate individual to contribute to our success. As a Baker with NOMAD Coffee & Bakery, your primary responsibility will be producing a delectable range of fresh bakery items.

 

 

Position Title

Baker (NOC 63202)

 

Terms of Employment

Permanent & Full-time (minimum 30 hours per week)

 

Start Date

As soon as possible

 

Compensation

$18.00-20.00 per hour (depending on working experience)

Overtime wage of $27.00 - $30.00 per hour if exceeds 8 hour per day or 40 hours per week

 

Benefits

2 weeks of paid vacation per year

Job duties

  • Skillfully craft dough for croffles, scones, and croissants, while also preparing batters for cookies and loaf, and creating icings and frostings, all in accordance with specified recipes or to fulfill special customer requests.
  • Bake an assortment of mixed doughs and batters to perfection.
  • Uphold stringent quality standards to ensure the excellence of all products.
  • Develop a production schedule to determine the types and quantities of goods to be produced.
  • Take responsibility for efficiently procuring baking supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and bake area

 

Qualifications

  • High School graduation
  • Entry level of related experience in baker position is asset
