Electrician

Bert’s Electric (2001) Ltd. is looking for 1 skillful Electrician for their company located at 26049 30A Avenue, Aldergrove, British Columbia, V4W 2W6 . This position will be full time with 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week.

The job duties the Electrician will be responsible for are:

-Install underground wiring and cables

-Install, replace and repair safety and distribution components like switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.

-Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures

-Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components

-Keep maintenance reports and documentation

-Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.

-Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits

-Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations

-Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units

-Supervise other workers

-Estimate costs and materials

We are offering:

-$30 per hour

-4% vacation pay

-Overtime will be paid for any all hours more than 40 hours per week

What we need:

-Completion of Secondary School is required

-1 year Work Experience is required

-Basic English is required
