Role Description

  • Strategizing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize holding costs.
  • Developing and implementing logistics strategies to streamline transportation, distribution, and warehousing.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Leading and supervising the team, ensuring smooth coordination. 
  • Collaborating with suppliers and third-party service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective services.
  • Assessing and mitigating risks in the supply chain and logistics processes.
  • Creating and managing budgets to control operational costs and improve profitability.
  • Leveraging technology solutions to enhance tracking, visibility, and overall operational performance.
  • Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Focusing on customer service and satisfaction by meeting delivery timelines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Using data analytics to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contributing to the development of long-term business strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Developing contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and disruptions. 

Role Eligibility 

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is required.
  • Relevant experience in logistics and supply chain management is crucial. This may range from 5 years or more. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to lead and motivate diverse team in a dynamic operational environment.
  • An understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial management is important, as the budgetary responsibility lies within $500,001 - $1,500,000. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, using data to inform decision-making and optimize operational processes.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with different stakeholders, including team members, suppliers, and management.
  • The capability to identify and resolve operational challenges efficiently, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.
