Sake Sushi Ltd (dba. The Plate) located at beatiful Nanimo, BC is currently looking for  qualified full time cooks.

1) Position: Cook (available: 2)

• Wage: $18/hour
• Types: Full-time, Permanent
• Working hours: 35 ~ 40 hours/week
• Benefits: 4% vacation pay of gross income per year, gratuities
• Job opens to Youth, Veterans, Newcomers to Canada, Older worker, Visible minorities, Indigenous people

2) Job requirements:

• 1 ~ 2 years of cooking experience in relevant area or completion of program in cooking
• Completion of secondary school
• Language at work: English

3) Job duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods on the menu
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and cost, and monitor and order supplies
• Train staff in preparation, cooking ahdn handling of food
• Inspect and clean work areas (kitchens and food service areas)
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
