Assistant Baker

Wages $ 18.00/ hour for a minimum of 30 hours or above per week. 1 year to less than 2 years’ experience is required. Job Duties Assistant Baker

• Weigh, sift, measure, and mix baking ingredients.
• Assist baker in preparing dough and bake ethnic breads including Tandoor (Oven) breads. i.e Naan bread, Oven baked Missi Roti etc.
• Assist Baker in preparing dough for Indian cuisine, snacks with rigid spice mix and other ethnic herbs i.e. puff, pastries, samosas, and sweet goods
• Bake mixed doughs and batters for Indian deserts, snacks and ethnic condiments.
• Portion, roll, knead, cut or shape dough to form different types of ethnic breads and sweet goods as per the specified recipe.
• Ensuring the baking tools, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitizer.
• Any other related tasks
