Interstice Consulting Corporation, situated at 34 Whippoorwill Drive, Gloucester, Ontario, K1J 8P2, stands as a prominent industry leader in delivering top-notch digital marketing, advertising solutions, and online marketing management services. Currently, we are actively in pursuit of a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as the Marketing Manager on a permanent basis. The role encompasses various responsibilities that span across the following key areas:
Account Management
- Staying on top of clients’ accounts making sure they are receiving services in accordance with their needs and signed agreements.
- Developing digital marketing strategies for clients in collaboration with them and other team members.
- Conducting regular weekly update meetings with clients (in English and French) as our clients are based in the USA, Canada, in different countries in Europe, Middle East and other regions.
- Providing reports on accounts performance to clients, including spreadsheet reports when necessary.
- Conducting quarter, mid-year and year-end reviews of accounts performance.
Team Management
- Managing team members and freelancers (assign tasks to them using the Asana task manager tool and supervise their work); team members include: Google ads specialists, Social ads specialists, email marketing assistants, website developers, accountant and interns.
- Meeting regularly with other team members to discuss progress and find other ways to improve accounts performance.
Digital Marketing
- Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies for clients including Google ads, Social ads and email & SMS marketing strategies.
- Setting up and managing Google ad campaigns including Performance Max, Standard Shopping, Display, Search, Video and other types of ads.
- Setting up product feeds for Google ads using Data feed watch, Simprosys app and other tools.
- Optimizing product titles and descriptions for Google ads.
- Implementing Google product ratings for Shopping ads.
- Setting up and managing Social ads on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest including image, video, collection, catalog, dynamic product ads etc.
- Supervising preparation of ad creatives using videos and images provided by clients (editing videos in a video editing app: crop, trim, add text overlays, add sound and voiceover etc.; editing images in Photoshop, Canva or other app: crop, create collages, gifs, add text & image overlays etc.; editing creatives using built-in tools or advertising platforms; adapting ad creatives to different ad placements).
- Localizing ad creatives for different markets (text & voiceover translation, adaptation of creatives, offers etc)
- Reviewing ad campaigns and creatives implemented by team members.
- Liaising with Google ads strategists and Meta Marketing Professionals to improve ad performance.
- Setting up automated email & SMS flows in Klaviyo including email copywriting, image editing, automation logic and A/B tests set up.
- Reviewing email campaigns drafts prepared by email marketing assistants, approve them with clients and schedule them.
- Managing email & SMS subscribers lists, set up target segments, implement list cleaning.
- Setting up SMS marketing in Klaviyo including update of a client’s privacy policy, terms of service for SMS etc.
- Setting up email & SMS sign-up forms, implement A/B tests.
- Creating and scheduling browser notifications using PushOwl app in Shopify.
- Analyzing accounts performance using Google Analytics, Shopify data, Klaviyo reports, ad platforms reports and third party analytics tools.
- Analyzing competitors' marketing activities.
- Implementing conversion rate optimisation on the website.
- Managing Shopify e-commerce stores: edit pages, products, navigation menu, set up promo codes and automatic discounts, landing pages, create collections, add and manage new apps, connect Shopify with Klaviyo, Meta, Google etc.
- Setting up and managing Amazon listings and ads.
Administration & Accounting
- Interviewing and hiring freelancers and team members using various work marketplaces.
- Reviewing and approving team members’ and freelancers’ monthly work timesheets and invoices.
- Finalizing monthly timesheets and preparing details of charges for clients’ invoices.
- Reviewing & approving invoices prepared by our accountant
Position requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency and comprehensive knowledge of various marketing tools, including but not limited to Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, as well as other marketing strategy tools such as CRM systems, and email tracking systems. Additionally, experience with data management tools like Klaviyo and SMS is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in successfully managing a start-up advertisement and marketing company.
- Expertise in strategic management within the advertising industry, consistently driving organizational success and surpassing goals while enhancing revenues and optimizing costs.
- A university degree or college diploma in communications, public relations, marketing, economics or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in both English and French languages, as proficiency in both is crucial for excelling in this position.
Compensation package: competitive wage of 60$ per hour with a workload of 30 hours a week at a minimum.
