Job Description:

• Load, unload and move and distribute construction material to work areas
• Mix, pour and spread construction material
• Assist in drilling using prying bars and other tools
• Proficient at identifying tools and materials needed for the project
• Clean the construction sites and remove rubble and other hazardous materials
• Assist skilled tradespersons by carrying materials, tools and help in other construction activities
• Prepare construction site by digging, filling holes and compacting the soil
• Maintain tools and other equipment
• Select tools, equipment, and materials from storage and transport items to work site
• Operate pneumatic hammers, tampers and other tools as directed
• Perform general duties, stacking tools and materials and parts assembly
• Follow safety procedures at worksite
• Follow directions and stay on task to ensure smooth workflow

Employment Requirements:

• No degree, diploma or certificate required.
• No experience required. Any previous related work experience would be an asset. On job training will be provided.
