Job Description and Duties:

  • Design, develop, test, implement and oversee IT systems
  • Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement within an organization's IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure that there are quality assurance procedures such as requirements gathering, product development, design, development and implementation of IT solutions/applications for new and existing systems.
  • Identify, analyze and document discrepancies and ensure that appropriate adjustments are made.
  • Design and implement analytics solutions for customers.
  • Should have strong experience/knowledge in Workday HCM suite and have working knowledge across areas such as Core HCM, Performance Management, Advanced Compensation, Business Process and Security Configurations, Custom Reporting, Worklets, EIB and XSLT transformation.
  • Develop, implement and apply policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness and overall quality and information systems, and to ensure that all systems and processes meet organization standards and user requirement.

 

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Long Term


Hours of Work:
40 hours per week

 

Wages:  $43.15 per hour

 

Overtime: One and one-half times the regular wage rate as per provincial regulations

 

Benefits Package: 

  • Insurance from Workplace Safety and Insurance Board covered by employer
  • Vacation pay as per provincial regulations will be paid each payday on a semi-monthly basis

Anticipated Start Date of Employment:  As soon as possible


Education, Experience and Language Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience   
  • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years equivalent
  • Completion of a Master Degree in Business Administration (Preferred)
  • Verbal and written English communication skills
  • Exposure to both technical and business areas
  • Have experience in solutioning and developing in-house products/tools based on industry needs, devising a roadmap to take it to the market and conducting proposal orals.
  • Experience in capability presentations, product demonstrations, proposal creation (RFP), solutioning and creating thought leadership and go-to-market sales artefacts.
  • Experience in analytics domain (HR Analytics is a plus).
