Job Summary 

Our firm requires a skilled and experienced Workday Extend Consultant to add to our growing team and work on existing and upcoming projects. Our ideal candidate has experience in consulting/account management and exposure to business analysis, requirements gathering, product development, design, development and implementation of Workday Extend solutions/applications. We are looking for someone who is skilled, adaptable, self-motivated and works well as a part of a team.

Job Description and Duties:

• Develop, implement and apply policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness and overall quality of Workday products and information systems, and to ensure that all systems and processes meet the company’s and our customer’s needs.
• Ability to manage and should have been a successful delivery manager.
• Should have deep knowledge and experience in designing in-house tools.
• Review existing Workday systems and internal processes.
• Perform custom integrations using REST, SOAP APIs, CSVs and other transformations.
• Should be an expertise in US Payroll who has extensively worked in Peoplesoft/Workday system.
• Should have worked in Workday and should hold minimum of one Workday Certification - Core HCM &Integration/Reporting/ Prism
• Ensure there are procedures that monitor and test existing and developed systems for quality assurance purposes.
• Writing BIRT, Matrix and Composite reports.
• Analyze and improve App Components, Business Objects, Business Process and Security Configuration
• Build and execute an Orchestration Design and write reports using RaaS and WQL
• Ensure the performance of maintenance tasks on computer systems.

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Long Term

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

Wages:  $43.15 per hour

Overtime: One and one-half times the regular wage rate as per provincial regulations

Benefits Package: 

• Insurance from Workplace Safety and Insurance Board covered by employer
• Vacation pay as per provincial regulations will be paid each payday on a semi-monthly basis

Anticipated Start Date of Employment:  As soon as possible

Education, Experience and Language Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience
• Minimum 2 years of Workday experience   
• Completion of relevant Workday Certifications:
  • Workday Core HCM & Workday Integrations  

• Experience with PMD Scripting, Orchestration, core HCM module and Security.
• Experience in JSON, XML, SQL and other application development experience.
• Verbal and written English communication skills
