Long Haul Truck Drivers

Atar Transport Ltd. located 12643 67A Avenue, Surrey, BC V3W 1G3 is looking urgently Long Haul Truck Drivers (06 Vacancies) to transport goods and materials all over Canada.

Duties: Operate and drive tractor- trailer and long combination vehicles weighing over 4600 kg to transport materials to destination, Oversee all aspects of vehicles such as condition of equipment and loading & unloading and safety and security of cargo, Communication with dispatchers and concern other staff, Perform pre- trip inspection on truck and trailer before start of journey, Record cargo information such as distance travelled and fuel consumption and other information in log book etc.

Wages rate is $27/hr + 4% vacation pay. Jobs are full time and permanent. Minimum hours: 50 Hrs. to 60 hrs. per week. Education not required. Language-Functional English but Punjabi as asset. Must have Class-1 or equivalent driving license OR Should qualify to get class-1 license. On the job training, will be provided.
