Food Service Supervisor

Pizza Pizza, Pitt Meadows is looking for a reliable, dedicated cooks on urgent basis.

 Job Description

• Establish work schedules

• Establish methods to meet work schedules

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food

• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures

• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies

• Ensure food service and quality control

• Address customers' complaints or concerns

• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

• Prepare and submit reports

• Prepare food order summaries for chef

• Supervise and check assembly of food 

Candidate(s) should have:

• Minimum College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

• 1-2 years of experience in handling a team of 5-10 staff members

• Must be Client focused

• Must have efficient interpersonal and communication skills

• Must be a team player and flexible to work in a fast pace environment

• Ability to speak, understand and write in English

• Ability to work in kitchen for extended hours.

Number of vacancies: 1

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $ 28.00 per hour

Schedule: 32-40 hours/week

Language: English

Start Date: As soon as possible

Working conditions: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime
