Production Site Manager (Event Coordinator)

Global Spectrum Facility Management, L.P.#1-300 Highway 2 Dawson Creek, BC V1G 0A4 – seeking four (4) experienced Production Site Managers to fulfill short term contract to work at a special event in Calgary, AB from July 28, 2023 to August 30, 2023.   Duties include: Plan, Organize, Direct site build out based on venue/festival requirements, managing the unloading of concessions and kitchen equipment from 18-wheelers during the set up for event, ensure equipment is timely set up and staged on the event grounds to include managing employees hired locally to assist with on-site stand erection and construction, evaluate operations and implement necessary procedures to ensure compliance with venue/event requirements and/or restrictions, ensure health and safety regulations are followed, monitor equipment performance and maintenance during event duration, managing and assisting with tear down and loading of equipment at the end of the event. Must have ability to evaluate site/ground conditions to ensure structure set up is done properly and meets all current code requirements, have technical understanding of all event equipment &  perform any necessary repairs and/or maintenance on site, must be trained in and comply with the Company’s strict Code of Conduct to meet our clients contractual requirements, must have experience working Special Events with the PGA, LPGA, Champions Tour & Major Music Festivals, This includes building and staging concession stands, operating concession stands, managing inventory, quality control, and managing staff. Must have 5+ years’ experience in the following:  Site/grounds management, working Special Events defined above, working in the food and beverage industry. Proven ability to deliver high quality service in a high paced environment in all weather conditions, and manage up to 50 staff.  Fork Lift certified. $29/Hr, 10-15 days straight 10hrs/day.
