Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ is seeking a Food Service Supervisor for Broadway location.

Salary: $18.5 per hour plus bonus depending on sale performance. Extended Health and Dental benefits are optional (after 3 months’ probation period)

Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week

Work Location: #201-950 W Broadway Vancouver BC V5Z 1K7

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Establish work schedules and procedures
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets

Qualifications:

• Secondary school completion is required
• Completion of a college program in food service administration, restaurant management or at least 2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required.
