Senior Logistics Manager (NOC70020)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set performance goals, oversee the setting of transportation service rates(ocean, air and land ) and monitor revenue
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
• Develop and implement procedures (SOP)  for shipping documentation and the scheduling and dispatching of goods and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit
• Develop plans and procedures for the logistics and  bounded warehouse (consolidation, deconsolidation and PO management)
• Negotiate with ocean, air and land carriers, and insurance company representatives for services and preferential rates
• Control the departmental budget and measure KPI
• Recruit , supervise and coach workforce

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing, Economics or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• More than 5 years of experience in logistics operations are required, including supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated analytical, business and problem solving skills. 
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Must have ability to lead and manage staff
• Must have ability to communicate effectively with all levels of operations and staff.
