 Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

 Work Experience: Over 2 years of Sales experience.

 

 Job Duties:

  • Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of establishments engaged in wholesale and retail sales or of departments in such establishments
  • Manage staff and assign duties
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
  • Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
  • Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues
  • Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development and retention of staff
  • Sales meetings- train and coach the sales staff every day.
  • Make follow-up calls to unsold showroom traffic.
  • Push for a demo drive, especially when the sales person can’t get one.
  • Ensure that the salespeople are prospecting for new business and following up on unsold showroom traffic.
  • Supervise the salespeople to ensure that they follow-up their owners on a planned contact basis.
  • Greet customers, the sales manager is the first point of contact. Personally talk to every prospect and thank them for coming.
  • Review salespeople’s floor traffic performance.
  • Conducting and organizing sales meetings on a regular basis.
