Job Title: Poultry Farm Worker (NOC 85100)

Terms of Employment:  30-40 hours per week, Full-Time/Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Wage: $16.05 - $18.05 per hour (Depending on Experience)

No of Positions: 4

Job Duties:

• Monitor feed, water, and air quality in the turkey barns.
• Remove dead turkeys from the barns and dispose them follow the instructions.
• Maintain or assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure including cleaning barns, equipment, machines, workshop, farmyards.
• Assist with loading and unloading farm supplies, equipment, soil, or sand (etc) onto farmyards, fields, and farm property.
• Assist in monitoring the health of the poultry and provide care.
• Assist in preparing poultry for transportation.
• Assist in operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.
• Assist in emergency calls in the barns outside of normal working hours when the situation demands attention.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Education: No formal education required.

Experience: No formal experience required; successful candidates will be trained on job duties.

Language:  No formal language required. Ability to speak in Chinese would be considered an asset.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Handling heavy loads.
