Job Title: Construction helper 

Job Type: Full-time, permanent  

Vacancy: 3

Wage Rate and hours: $20.00 per hour, 40 hours per week 

Start date: as soon as possible 

Job Location: various locations across Edmonton, depends upon job project.  

Job requirements: 

Language: English   

Education: No education is required. 

Experience: No experience is required. On job training will be provided.  

Job duties: 

• Load and unload construction materials 
• Move construction materials to work areas 
• Assist trade persons such as insulators, carpenters and other team members in construction activities   
• Assist in demolishing buildings 
• Clean and pile salvaged material 
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminates 
• Follow the instructions of an on-duty supervisor 
• Perform other activities at construction sites 
• Attend on site safety meetings 
• Remove rubble, other debris and garbage at construction sites 

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks 

Security and safety guidelines must always be kept in mind and be strictly followed at all the times. Hard hat, safety glasses and steel toe-cap shoes are must while performing the job duties.
