Education-                             Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience-                           1 year to less than 2 years

Job Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food items by following company recipes and standards;

Carefully prepare dishes for customers with food allergies;

Plan menus and determine size of food portions;

Perform inventory control and maintain records of food and other supplies required in the kitchen;

Keep kitchen areas clean, organized, and sanitized;

Order supplies and equipment required in the kitchen;

Supervise kitchen staff in preparing, cooking, and handling of the food;

Assist in hiring kitchen staff;

Manage kitchen operations and ensure uniform quality and quantity of the food;

Inspect kitchen areas before preparing meals;
