Light duty cleaners

Thompson Hotel Ltd. located at 650 Victoria St, Kamloops, BC - V2C 2B4  is currently hiring for 5 Light duty cleaners (NOC: 6731) to join their team.

The position available is full-time position for 40 hrs. per week. Wages offered for the position are $17.00/hr. + 4% of Vacation pay.

Requirements:

• There are no specific education or experience requirements for this position, but if you have any related education or previous experience, it would be considered an asset.
• Basic Knowledge of English Language

Job responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, wash, wax, and polish floors
• Take care of daily cleanliness of hotel rooms.
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies
• Clean, disinfect, and polish room and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• When assigned, clean and disinfect public areas such as the swimming pool, spa area, changing rooms, showers, and elevators
• Empty trash containers.
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Perform other duties related to cleaning services as requested by Supervisor.

Work conditions:

• Must be punctual
• Must be able work in all shifts such Morning, evening etc.
• Must be able to work long hours with repetitive tasks.
