Apollo was founded in 1980 and operates in a world-class, fully integrated 70,000 square foot facility, with an experienced engineering team, specialized manufacturing resources, state-of-the-art testing equipment, and a stringent quality control system.

The machine operator is organized, meticulous, and adept at setting up and operating conventional milling, lathe or CNC machines. In a fast-paced manufacturing environment, the operator will manufacture passive microwave components that comply with quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Study work orders and interpret drawings to determine machining operations to be performed;

• Set up and operate manual milling machines to mill metal pieces;

• Verify dimensions of parts machined using instruments such as micrometers and calipers;

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.

• Machines operated depends on candidate skills and experience

Qualifications: (experience needed and education)

• Vocational training in machining considered an asset;

• Proficiency using calipers, micrometers and measuring instruments to examine parts adequately

• 1 year CNC machine operating experience minimum

• Detail oriented

• Willingness to learn new skills 

Salary: $18.75 / Hour
