Logistics Manager (NOC0731)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, and transportation
• Set performance goals, oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue
• Arrange for shipping documentation and oversee the scheduling and dispatching of goods and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit
• Develop plans and procedures for the logistics and warehouse
• Negotiate with ocean, air and land carriers, and insurance company representatives for services and preferential rates
• Control the departmental budget
• Recruit , supervise and coach workforce

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• More than 3 years of experience in logistics operations are required, including supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated analytical, business and problem solving skills. 
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
