Motor transport labourer

Chohan Freight Forwarders Ltd. a well-known transportation company based at 26116 31B Avenue, Langley, BC – V4W 2Z6 is looking for Two (02) full-time, permanent Motor transport labourer (NOC: 7622) to join their company.

Minimum Requirements:

• There are no education or previous experience requirements for this position. All you need is basic knowledge of English Language.

Work Location: 26116 31B Avenue, Langley, BC – V4W 2Z6

Compensation & Wages:

1. $19.00/hr. for 40 Hours per week + 4% Vacation pay on each schedule pay cheque
2. Overtime rate of 1.5 times the regular wages after 08 hours a day and 40 hours a week.
3. 5 Days of Sick leave per year

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist truck driver to load and unload vehicles.
2. Store cargo and materials
3. Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and store
4. Unload and move materials and products
5. Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
6. Pick orders and stock
7. Pack and unpack goods
8. Organize and maintain inventory
9. Follow safety procedures and ensure safe practices
10. Perform other labour duties as required in yard/warehouse.
