Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020)

Objective

The main objective of Tokyo Express Restaurant is to ensure that the recruitment and selection process is unbiased, transparent, ensuring that we hire the best candidates for the position.

You will be responsible for the following duties:

• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure food service and quality control
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare and submit resports
• Supervise and check assembly of trays
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
• Establish work schedules
• Respond to customer issues by providing excellent customer service
• Work in an effective and efficient manner

Qualifications:

• High school graduation
• Have 1-2 years experience as Food Service Supervisor

Specific Skills:

• Canadian/Italian/Indian/Chinese/Japanese/Vietnamese cuisine
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques to cooking staff (chef, sous-chef)
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food (chef, sous-chef)
