Carpenter

Full-time Carpenter Required urgently!!

We are currently looking for One (01) full-time, permanent Carpenter (NOC: 72310) for our business based at 9226 Stuart Cres, Surrey, BC – V3V 1T6

Requirements:

Education: Completion of High school education is required.

Experience: Completion of a three-to-four-year apprenticeship program OR 2-3 years of experience in related field is required.

Language: English

Job Location: Various locations throughout Lower Mainland depending upon business contracts.

Compensation Package offered: $30.00/hr. for 40 hrs./week + 4% Vacation Pay + 5 days of sick leave per year.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Fit and install trim items, such as stairs, Cabinets and hardware
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Build stairs, doors, windows and other structures of wood in buildings
• Operate power and hand tools.
• Prepare the estimate cost for clients.
• Use safety equipment’s and make all work is done using proper safety procedures.
• Supervise other Carpenter helpers at worksite.

 Work Conditions:

• Willing to work outdoors, indoors, and all-weather conditions.
• Able to perform repeated tasks.
