Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
• Building relationships with vendors and customers
• Direct and review the work plan for assigned staff
• Implement appropriate safety guidelines and investigate injuries or unsafe conditions
• Develop delivery schedules and drop shipment strategies
• Coordinate warehousing and storeroom activities with outside agencies and organizations
• Discover new trends and innovations in how the logistics activities of the business are carried out
• Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the organization.
• Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, and transportation services
• Liaise and negotiate with freight vendors and brokers
• Keep track of quality, the volume of work, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
• Arrange warehouse, plan routes, and process shipments
• Supervise, coach, and train warehouse employees
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeline targets
• Enforce all company policies, rules, and regulations
• Supervisory experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment
• Computer literate with experience in MS Office (Word, Excel), QuickBooks, and Wave
• Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
