Job Duties:
- Monitoring work sites for both new construction and remodeling projects and assuring that project goals and objectives are achieved in accordance with the budget, deadline and requirements.
- Review and submit contract drawings and specifications and opine for completeness and general compliance with commonly accepted architectural /engineering best practices
- Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures
- Develop timetables, budget, and estimates.
- Purchas or authorize the purchase of building material
- Determine, address, and keep track of reoccurring construction issues promptly.
- Track projects, update clients and construction firms on progress and budget matters.
- Prepare, interpret, and explain contracts and technical information to subcontractors, clients, and other professionals on company’s behalf.
- Communicate with the project’s engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare progress reports on the state of contracts, including costs and project modifications.
- Follow all applicable laws, building rules, safety standards, and other requirements.
- provide assistance such as technical guidance, Hiring and/or training to coworkers.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related Engineering.
- 3+ years of years of experience assisting or supervising construction projects.
- Experience in leading a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with productivity software e.g., MS Office Suite, Adobe Suite, and/or G-Suite
- Experience with project management systems
- Knowledge of construction methods and the ability to interpret design drawings and specs
