Job Duties:

  • Monitoring work sites for both new construction and remodeling projects and assuring that project goals and objectives are achieved in accordance with the budget, deadline and requirements.
  • Review and submit contract drawings and specifications and opine for completeness and general compliance with commonly accepted architectural /engineering best practices
  • Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures
  • Develop timetables, budget, and estimates.
  • Purchas or authorize the purchase of building material 
  • Determine, address, and keep track of reoccurring construction issues promptly.
  • Track projects, update clients and construction firms on progress and budget matters.
  • Prepare, interpret, and explain contracts and technical information to subcontractors, clients, and other professionals on company’s behalf. 
  • Communicate with the project’s engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare progress reports on the state of contracts, including costs and project modifications.
  • Follow all applicable laws, building rules, safety standards, and other requirements.
  • provide assistance such as technical guidance, Hiring and/or training to coworkers. 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related Engineering. 
  • 3+ years of years of experience assisting or supervising construction projects. 
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with productivity software e.g., MS Office Suite, Adobe Suite, and/or G-Suite
  • Experience with project management systems
  • Knowledge of construction methods and the ability to interpret design drawings and specs
