Job Duties

APT Consulting Ltd. is seeking an Information Systems Analyst to analyze, evaluate, and improve the company’s information systems, business processes, and IT solutions to support efficient business operations and organizational objectives.

The successful candidate will:

Planning, developing, implementing, testing, and overseeing IT systems to support organizational operations and technology requirements.
Collecting, evaluating, and analyzing IT-related data to identify system deficiencies, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within the organization’s IT infrastructure.
Reviewing existing information systems, workflows, and internal processes to assess their effectiveness and identify areas requiring enhancement.
Establishing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, standards, and processes throughout the software development life cycle to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, reliability, and overall quality of software products and information systems while ensuring organizational and user requirements are met.
Developing and carrying out quality assurance procedures, testing methodologies, and validation processes for the development, maintenance, and improvement of new and existing IT systems.
Identifying, investigating, analyzing, and documenting system discrepancies, errors, and process deviations, while ensuring that appropriate corrective actions and adjustments are implemented.
Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, determining root causes, and implementing appropriate solutions to maintain effective and uninterrupted IT operations.
Performing preventive maintenance, system checks, and routine technical assessments on computer systems and related IT equipment to maintain reliable system performance and reduce potential technical disruptions.
Working with technical teams, end users, and organizational stakeholders to gather system requirements, address technology-related concerns, and ensure that IT solutions effectively support business needs.
Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including system specifications, configuration information, testing records, maintenance activities, and process updates.
Assisting with the evaluation and implementation of system upgrades, software updates, and technology enhancements to improve system functionality, security, efficiency, and compatibility.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in computer science, information systems, information technology, business administration, or a related field.

Experience:
Several years of professional experience in information systems analysis, IT consulting, business systems analysis, or a related technical field, including experience in evaluating system requirements, improving business processes, and implementing IT solutions.
