We are currently looking for one full-time Construction Manager to join our team.

Salary: $55.00 per hour 
Number of positions: 1 
Start date: As soon as possible 
Work location(s): Candidates are required to work in various locations in Kelowna (BC) & other areas in Thompson- Okanagan Region (BC) as per the company’s work contracts with its clients.

Position responsibilities: 

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects  as per budget, schedule, and specifications.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
• Develop construction schedules and project milestones, and monitor progress to ensure work remains on schedule.
• Estimate material, labor, equipment, and other costs for the construction projects.
• Direct the purchase of material and supplies.
• Develop and implement quality control programs and review completed work to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.

Position requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry, including a minimum of 2 years in a Construction Supervisor role.
• A university degree in Civil Engineering or a college diploma in Construction Technology would be considered an asset.
• Good English communication skills.
