Work location: Onsite and involves delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ locations, including loading and unloading at the warehouse and delivery sites.

• Salary: 23.00 to 25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of employment: Permanent employment - Full time

Job Summary

Lead and supervise furniture movers during deliveries and moving operations, ensuring safe furniture handling, smooth coordination, and professional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise furniture movers during deliveries and moving operations.

• Coordinate the loading and unloading of furniture and ensure items are properly secured.

• Ensure furniture is handled, transported, and delivered safely without damage.

• Check that orders are complete and that furniture matches the delivery documents.

• Train and guide new employees on proper moving, lifting, and safety procedures.

• Monitor employees’ work performance and provide instructions when needed.

• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and management to ensure deliveries run smoothly.

• Communicate with customers and handle basic concerns or delivery issues professionally.

• Report damaged furniture, missing items, accidents, or other problems to management.

• Ensure the team follows company policies and workplace health and safety requirements.

• Help resolve problems that arise during deliveries.

• Ensure trucks, equipment, and work areas are clean and properly maintained.

• Assist with physically moving furniture when necessary.

• Complete or review delivery paperwork and other required records.

• 1 to 2 people
