Salary: $37.00 hourly / 30 hours per week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and follow welding procedures and process specifications for assigned repair and fabrication work.
• Operate manual, semi-automatic, and automated welding equipment to complete metal welding tasks.
• Read and understand welding drawings, blueprints, specifications, manuals, and work instructions.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications.
• Operate manual and semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut and prepare metal components.
• Use brakes, shears, and other metal-forming equipment to shape, straighten, and bend metal materials.
• Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal components as required for truck and trailer repairs.
• Operate pre-set welding machines to fabricate, repair, and assemble metal parts and components.
• Operate pre-set brazing and soldering equipment to join metal components and repair holes, seams, and indentations.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure safe and proper operation.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience will be considered as an Asset in the similar role.
• Proficient in written and spoken English to accurately follow technical instructions, safety protocols, and job orders
• Position requires full on-site presence in a workshop environment; remote work is not applicable.
• Able to work in demanding conditions, including outdoor exposure to dust, fumes, heat, noise, and industrial surroundings.
• Capable of safely handling heavy metal components, welding tools, and equipment in a physically intensive environment.
• High level of attention to detail to ensure precision welding, quality workmanship, and compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Dependable, adaptable, and able to perform efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced production or repair setting.
