Responsibilities
• Recommend measures to improve work methods
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Supervise workers and projects
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Recommend personnel actions
• Co-ordinate repairs and rentals
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments

Supervision
• 5–10 people, including truck drivers and movers, and staff in various areas of responsibility

Requirements
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years (relevant experience includes moving, trucking, delivery or bus operations)
• Class 5/5F/G driver's licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles); valid driver's licence
• Computer skills: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook and dispatch management software
• Able to work under pressure
• Excellent oral communication, organized, team player
