Warehouse Supervisor

Galaxy Freightline Inc., located at 1580 Britannia Rd E, Mississauga, ON L4W 1J2, requires 1 Warehouse Supervisor on a permanent full-time basis.

Wage: $37.25 per hour

Hours: 37.50 hours per week

Education: College

Experience: Must have 2 years to less than 3 years of verifiable experience

Job duties:

- Overall supervision of the warehouse and ensuring smooth operations of the warehouse on a daily basis.
- Supervise packing, unpacking, and preparation of loads to be dispatched.
- Order warehouse supplies and maintain adequate stock.
- Supervise and ensure scheduled maintenance, general repairs, and optimum utilization of all warehouse equipment.
- Ensure timely and effective receiving and shipping activities.
- Resolve work-related issues.
- Supervision of warehouse staff and related matters such as hiring, training, and submitting payroll information to the accountant’s department.
- Implementing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Any other tasks relevant to effective and efficient supervision of the warehouse.
