Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Job Duties:

• Operate heavy equipment and computer-controlled machinery safely and efficiently.
• Review and interpret blueprints, maps, technical drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements and appropriate operating procedures.
• Perform routine pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
• Use GPS and other navigation systems to accurately locate and navigate work areas.
• Attach and secure specialized equipment attachments as required for different tasks.
• Take measurements of distance, length, volume, and weight as needed during operations.
• Carry out basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to keep it operational.
• Clean, lubricate, and refuel equipment regularly in accordance with operating requirements.
• Follow and apply the information provided when handling materials and operating equipment.
• Determine appropriate work methods and operating sequences based on drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
