Job Overview

Jasraj Enterprise Inc. DBA Petro-Canada is seeking an experienced and organized Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail location in Port McNeill, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating store operations, maintaining inventory and supplies, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting the overall efficiency and profitability of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the retail store.

• Manage and supervise store employees, including assigning duties and preparing work schedules.

• Recruit, train, and evaluate employees as required.

• Monitor employee performance and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Maintain inventory levels and coordinate ordering of merchandise and supplies.

• Monitor sales, expenses, cash handling, and daily financial activities.

• Ensure the store is clean, organized, safe, and properly maintained.

• Address customer concerns and ensure a high standard of customer service.

• Prepare reports regarding sales, inventory, staffing, and store operations.

• Implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.

• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, employment, and company standards.

• Coordinate with suppliers and service providers when required.

• Perform other duties related to the management and operation of the retail store.

Requirements

• College diploma or degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in retail management or a similar supervisory/management role.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
