About the Opportunity:

AllStream Janitorial Services has an immediate multiple job openings for Lead Chemical Cleaner and Site-Supervisor that is a permanent full-time opportunity. This position assumes responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of chemical cleaning operations, leading a team of cleaning staff, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety on client sites.

This job is characterized by a hectic and fast-paced work environment. It requires strong leadership skills, hands-on chemical cleaning expertise, and proactive planning in order to effectively manage workflow inherent in delivering safe and efficient cleaning services to our clients. In addition, this position requires communication with management, providing updates on site status, and explaining any issues related to cleaning operations or team performance.

We are located at 211 Watline Ave, Unit 208, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, L4Z 1P3. The main intersection is Traders Blvd E and Whittle Rd in the city of Mississauga.

About the Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of assigned site workers, including janitors, heavy duty cleaners, and specialized cleaners.
• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards.
• Perform advanced chemical cleaning tasks, including the safe handling, mixing, application, and disposal of approved industrial cleaning chemicals in accordance with WHMIS and Ontario health and safety regulations.
• Prepare budget and cost estimates.
• Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
• Assist cleaners in performing duties.
• Co-ordinate work activities with other departments
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, chemical usage, staff hours, incident reports, equipment condition reports, and other documentation as required.
• Ensure that all cleaning operations comply with company policies, Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), WHMIS, and all applicable regulatory agency guidelines and regulations.
• Train, mentor, and monitor new and existing cleaning staff on proper chemical handling, safe work procedures, and company quality standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment; place orders as needed and ensure proper storage and labelling.
• Coordinate with clients and management to schedule cleaning services, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.

About the Job Skills and Requirements:

Following are the job skills and requirements for this position:

• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• On-the-job training including safety instructions will be provided.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in chemical cleaning, janitorial services, or a related supervisory role preferred.
•  Thorough knowledge of WHMIS, OHSA, and safe chemical handling procedures.
• A high degree of initiative and independence.
• Ability to operate chemical cleaning equipment, including pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and chemical dispensing systems.

About the Working Hours, Salary and How to Apply:

Working Hours: It is a permanent full-time job position that required minimum of 32-40 hours per week.

      Job Salary:  $38.00 to $39.00 per hour based on skills and experience
