Restaurant Manager

Japan Consulting Corporation is looking for a permanent full-time Restaurant Manager at its JAPADOG Robson store location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Recruit staff and oversee staff training
• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
• Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies

Education, skills and experience required:

• Completion of Secondary School
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is preferred but not required
• At least 3 years of work experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience
• Ability to maintain high-quality control standards under high pressure and fast paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking skills

Language:

• Communication skills in English

Compensation and Benefit:

$38.40/hour, 4% vacation pay, Tips, Staff meals and Staff discount.
