We are seeking a dedicated, hands-on Logistics & Dispatch Supervisor to oversee our daily delivery fleet scheduling, route tracking, and frontline staff in the Northern Ontario Region, while coordinating closely with our central operations team in Etobicoke.

Key Responsibilities
• Staff Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily shifts and tasks for a team of 10+ drivers, warehouse helpers, and dispatch staff operating across Northern Ontario routes.
• Route Optimization: Plan, optimize, and adjust daily delivery routes to ensure on-time delivery across regional service routes.
• Shipment & Stock Tracking: Track daily inbound and outbound shipments, monitor stock levels, and coordinate cold-chain/perishable delivery schedules.
• Operational Problem Solving: Troubleshoot daily operational bottlenecks, including severe weather disruptions, delivery delays, vehicle breakdowns, and staff absences.
• Training & Safety: Train new staff on route navigation, package handling, scanning systems, and winter driving/workplace safety rules.
• Audits & Quality Control: Conduct regular inventory and dispatch audits, check delivery logs, and reconcile shipment discrepancies.
• Operational Reporting & Coordination: Travel to the Etobicoke Headquarters on a regular basis (every 1–2 weeks) to present operational performance reports, attend management briefings, and coordinate inter-regional dispatch logistics with head office management.

Requirements
• Education: High school diploma is required at minimum.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of supervisory or team management experience in fast-paced, high-pressure operational environments (such as logistics, food supply/distribution, or dispatch operations).
• Team Management: Proven track record of supervising and scheduling frontline teams of 10 or more personnel.
• Travel & Relocation Flexibility (Mandatory Screening Condition):
- Willing and able to work primarily on-site in the Northern Ontario Region (remote hub/field routes).
- Willing and able to travel regularly to the Etobicoke Head Office every 1-2 weeks for management debriefings and dispatch alignment.
• Skills & Competencies:
- Strong ability to plan routes, handle unexpected weather/transit delays, and maintain strict delivery timelines.
- Familiarity with Northern Ontario routes, winter driving conditions, and regional geography.
- Hands-on knowledge of basic logistics or inventory software (e.g., MS Excel, dispatch or tracking systems).
- Good communication and problem-solving skills in English. Additional language skills are an asset.
