Hourly rate:  $20.67 - $23.00/hour (To be negotiated)

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time (30- 40 hours / week)

Start date: As soon as possible

Work setting: Retail business

Benefit: 5.77 percent of total wages for vacation pay

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Job Duties

• Keep records of expenditure, sales figures, and employee performance

• Monitor shelf stocks and maintain inventory

• Order merchandise

• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff

• Assign sales workers to duties

• Establish work schedules

• Manage cash

• Authorize payments by cheque and/or return of merchandise

• Resolve issues such as customer complaints or supply shortages
