Warehouse Supervisor

Galaxy Freightline Inc., located at 1580 Britannia Rd E, Mississauga, ON L4W 1J2, requires 1 Warehouse Supervisor on a Permanent full-time basis.

Wage: $31 to $35 per hour

Hours: 37.50 hours per week

Education: College

Experience: Must have 2 years to less than 3 years verifiable experience

Job duties:

Overall supervision of the warehouse and ensure smooth operations of the warehouse on a daily basis.
Supervise packing, unpacking, and preparation of loads to be dispatched.
Order warehouse supplies and maintain adequate stock.
Supervise and ensure scheduled maintenance, general repairs, and optimum utilization of all warehouse equipment’s.
Ensure timely and effective receiving and shipping activities.
Resolve work-related issues.
Supervision of warehouse staff and related matters such as hiring, training, submitting payroll information to the accountant’s department.
Implementing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Any other tasks relevant to effective and efficient supervision of the warehouse.
