Landscape Supervisor

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance activities including mowing, pruning, planting, irrigation system installation and repairs, and general garden care.
• Lead a team of landscaping professionals by assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Oversee irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting to ensure optimal water management across all sites.
• Manage landscape construction projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality standards, identify issues early, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Collaborate with clients or project managers to understand landscape design plans and ensure their successful implementation.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for accountability and reporting purposes.

Skills

• Proven supervising experience in landscape or horticultural environments with strong leadership capabilities.
• Extensive knowledge of gardening practices, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance techniques.
• Skilled in irrigation systems installation, repair, and troubleshooting to promote healthy plant growth.
• Construction experience related to outdoor projects such as hardscaping or site preparation is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective team leadership and client interactions.
