Gursur Development Inc. is hiring a Retail Store Manager for our Chevron gas station in Prince Rupert, British Columbia.

Position: Retail Store Manager (NOC 60020)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Vacancies: 1
Wage: $42.00 per hour
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

Duration of Employment- 3 years, (36 Months)
Overtime Rate: $63.00 per hour after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week, in accordance with applicable employment standards.

Remuneration: 4% vacation pay

The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the retail store and gas station.
  • Supervising, coordinating, and scheduling employees.
  • Assigning duties and ensuring staff follow company policies and procedures.
  • Recruiting, training, and evaluating employees when required.
  • Monitoring sales, inventory, and store performance.
  • Ordering merchandise and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
  • Ensuring the store is clean, organized, and properly stocked.
  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer concerns.
  • Handling cash, deposits, and daily financial records.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations.
  • Preparing reports regarding sales, expenses, inventory, and staffing.
  • Implementing promotional activities and merchandising strategies.
  • Ensuring the gas station and convenience-store operations run efficiently
  • Completion of secondary school.
  • Previous experience in Retail a 1 year to 2 year in Trade
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
