Currently, we are hiring 2 full-time “Plumbers” to join our team as soon as possible who will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of the work and maximizing the productivity of our warehouse.

Salary: $38.50 per hour

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.

Work Location: Various locations in Surrey (BC) and other Lower Mainland (BC) areas, and Fraser Valley as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Job responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems.
• Prepare cost estimations for required plumbing work.
• Install, repair, and maintain domestic or commercial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
• Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings with attention to existing infrastructure.
• Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines.
• Check pipes for leakages using air and water pressure tools.
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, etc.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues related to water supply lines.
• Communicate with co-workers and other tradesmen.

Job requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School
• Completion of an apprenticeship program in the plumbing trade OR minimum 3 years of work experience in the trade.
• Ability to communicate in English.
